How to Evaluate an iGaming CRM: 8 Criteria and the Tests That Prove Them
A buyer checklist for iGaming CRM: platform integration, event speed, bonus write-back, compliance, measurement, cost, team size and affiliate data.

What should you test when choosing an iGaming CRM?
Test what the CRM does with your own player events, not what the demo shows with sample data. Independent 2026 comparisons judge iGaming CRMs on how they ingest data, how fast they act on an event, whether they can write bonuses back, how they suppress contact for compliance, what they cost over three years, how many people they need and how they exchange affiliate and BI data. The eight criteria below turn those questions into tests you can run in a demo or pilot.
The eight criteria
| Criterion | Why it matters | How to test it |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Platform integration | Without clean events nothing else works | Ask for a documented connector for your exact platform and map deposits, bets, sessions and KYC status to CRM fields |
| 2. Event-to-action speed | A welcome or deposit message loses value with every minute | In a pilot, time the gap between a test deposit and the triggered message |
| 3. Bonus write-back | Manual crediting costs hours and causes errors | Have the CRM credit a capped test bonus to a player account and check the ledger |
| 4. Compliance suppression | A promotion to a self-excluded player is a regulatory incident | Flag a test player as self-excluded or without consent and confirm every campaign skips them |
| 5. Measurement | Without a control group you cannot see incremental revenue | Run one journey with a holdout group and read the uplift report |
| 6. Cost and time to launch | Licence starts before results | Get a three-year cost and a dated plan from contract to first live campaign |
| 7. Team size | People are often the largest cost | Ask how many CRM staff run a comparable operator day to day |
| 8. Affiliate and BI data | Affiliate costs and reports must reconcile | Export one month of affiliate commissions and compare them with your finance data |
How to run the evaluation
- Write down your platform, brands, channels and markets before the first demo.
- Send every vendor the same test scenarios, for example a first deposit, a dormant player and a self-excluded player.
- Score each criterion from your own tests, not from slides.
- Ask for references from an operator on the same platform and in the same market.
- Price the full three years, as described in the iGaming CRM pricing guide.
How CoCrm.ai answers these criteria
The table lists only what CoCrm.ai documents publicly. For anything else, ask us to demonstrate it in your own stack during the demo.
| Criterion | CoCrm.ai |
|---|---|
| Platform integration | An integration directory of 46 platforms and services, including 14 gaming platforms such as GR8 Tech, Digitain, EveryMatrix, BetConstruct, SoftSwiss and Pronet Gaming; scope depends on API access |
| Event-to-action speed | Under one second from a player event to the triggered action |
| Compliance suppression | Every Journey send passes responsible-gaming and opt-out checks, which also apply to test runs; incentive offers are blocked for responsible-gaming-restricted players before abuse, frequency and budget checks. Operators can add a cross-channel daily contact cap, a minimum gap between contacts and quiet hours. A responsible-gaming risk scan flags deposit velocity, binge depositing and loss chasing; deposit limits, cool-off, self-exclusion and reality checks are applied from the panel with approval |
| API and data ingestion | Public provider integration and API documentation: Data Push REST API, Kafka, RabbitMQ, WebSocket, Redis Streams, batch files and webhooks |
| Team size | A CRM team of about five people is enough to run CoCrm.ai day to day |
| Bonus handling | A rule-based Bonus Engine that runs together with the Risk & Fraud module and its five-process parallel fraud detection; see the bonus automation guide |
| Measurement | Journey lifecycle automation is measured against a control group (Professional package) |
| Cost and time to launch | Published list prices on the pricing page; setup in 14 business days for Starter and 21 for Professional when the provider integration exists |
| Data protection | Role-based access control, tenant isolation, TLS in transit and audit logs, described in the data security policy |
| Deployment | Managed cloud, dedicated or hybrid setups depending on your regulator, as described on Security & Trust |
| Availability | A 99.5% monthly uptime commitment on every package |
| Affiliate data | Affiliate & Link Masking with CPC, CPA and RevShare models and automatic reporting |
Common mistakes
Choosing on the number of features is the most common mistake. A long feature list does not show whether your deposit events arrive in time or whether a restricted player is really excluded. The second mistake is comparing licence prices without team cost and time to launch. Use the migration checklist once you have chosen.
